SSO (Single Sign On) floorsense mobile app installation guide

Login issues
Unable to login at all Check with IT department your corporate account is active and allowed to access Floorsense app.
This issue often occurs for returning users whose previous account was disabled.
Floorsense app displaying blank page Depending on the site size and your internet speed, the app may take a few minutes to download the floor plan and synchronise your account data—especially on the first launch. A strong internet connection is important to ensure a faster loading process.

If you see a blank screen, please give the FS app additional time to complete loading. | | The app logging us out after closing it, we have to re-enter our email which takes us to SSO before we can continue | This happens because FS app was perviously used without SSO. Now your company switched to SSO login and old way to login doesn’t work properly anymore. The solution is: to logout from the existing app (from settings menu) and properly login via SSO, using your corporate email and password. | | Check-in issues | | | Unable to check-in to my desk puck/handset using FS mobile app | The app doesn’t have access to Bluetooth or/and Location service. Reinstall carefully following the instructions below. **If Bluetooth or/and Location access was denied during the initial installation, enabling them later in your phone settings will not activate them for the app. These permissions to use Bluetooth, Location and Notifications services must be enabled before installation AND confirmed during the FIRST launch of the app. | | No “Confirm” desk prompt pop-up | Checking in at a desk with a mobile phone for a scheduled booking may sometimes fail. The phone vibrates, but the handset does not respond.This often happens when desk prompts have been ignored. To stop ignoring desk prompts: 1. Open the Desks tab at the bottom of the app screen. Scroll down, Tap Stop Ignoring 2. If there are no ignored desks listed in the Desks tab: Place your phone on the desk directly above the handset screen, Wait 10–15 seconds. If the prompt still does not appear: Open the app settings and Increase the RSSI (Signal Strength) value to 50–55 |

How to stop ignoring desk prompts

Non SSO setup only.

Non SSO accounts created using unique activation links.

Issue Resolution
I get ‘Your account is already exists’ error Go to I already have an account and login. If don’t remember password go to forgot my password and reset.
I unable to login 1. Try using “Forgot my password” to reset your login if still cannot login do next step
  1. Reinstall your Floorsense (FS) app and create a new account using a fresh activation link. This issue often occurs for returning users whose previous account was removed. | | I’m unable to checkin to my desk puck using my phone app | The app doesn’t have access to Bluetooth or/and Location service.
  2. Force quit the app and clear it’s cache data first, then uninstall.
  3. Turn Location service ON
  4. Bluetooth ON
  5. Internet ON(either mobile data or Wi-Fi whichever is stronger)
  6. ALLOW Location, Bluetooth and Notifications during the first run | | Floorsense app displaying blank page | Depending on the site size, the app may take 1–3 minutes to download the floor plan, especially when launched for the first time. A strong internet connection is essential to speed up the process. |
