Setting up SCIM Integration

The Smartalock / Floorsense system supports SCIM 2.0 (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for synchronising user creation, updates and deletion.

SCIM allows for synchronisation from your source of truth user database to the Smartalock user database. The system is RFC 7643 and RFC7644 compliant and should work with most SCIM clients.

The following Schemas are supported:

Core 2.0 Groups are not supported.

This guide will show you how to setup SCIM integration between Smartalock and Microsoft Azure Active Directory

Enable Smartalock SCIM Service

Navigate to the Smartalock master controller configuration page at https://customer.smartalock.com/config/1 and navigate to Users -> SCIM Integration

Into the SCIM Hostname field enter the external hostname of your master controller. This likely to be something like customer.smartalock.com or customer.floorsense.com.au. Press the “Save” button at the bottom of the page. The SCIM Base URI and Shared Secret are now displayed. These will need to be entered into your SCIM client, e.g., Microsoft Azure Active Directory

Start Smartalock SCIM Service

Navigate to the “Services” menu item and press the “Enable” button for the “SCIM Endpoint” service. The service will take a few minutes to start
