There are some terminologies used within the Floorsense system which is explained below:
Recurring Reservation - refers to a series of separate, repetitive desk reservations for a single user.
If the admin chooses “Recurring”, the following options are given. The admin first chooses a reservation Start and End time. They can then choose whether they want it to occur every day, or specific days (Every Week) via the “Repeat” dropdown menu. If the “Every Week” option is selected, the admin can choose specific days for the reservation to occur by highlighting the day(s) specified on the right in grey. They can also choose how they would like to end the recursive booking via the “End Repeat” dropdown menu; either after a certain amount of times (After) or a specific date (On Date). After choosing this, they can then choose whether the user has to swipe their card to start the reservation via “Requires Check In”.
CSN - Card Serial Number. A string of numbers and letters unique to a swipe card. These are often more than 8 characters long. The CSN is the unencrypted number stored at block 0 of Mifare based swipe cards.
Desk Zones - An area consisting of clusters of desks with Floorsense and Floorsight devices. Usually used when the quantity of desks is large enough to divide them into multiple zones with their own Slave controllers. These zones are often labelled as colours (Blue zone, Green zone etc.)
Team Leaders - users enabled to book on behalf of other users. Team leaders created by Floorsense admin portal administrator/s. See instructions how to create a team leader and assign teammates.
Scheduled booking – allows to choose start and end time/date
Swipe-in – sign-in to the system using access card
Check-in – sign-in to the system using either FS app or building access card
