Teammates are assigned by the Floorsense administrator and cannot be modified by users, but you can Follow anyone you like, as explained here:

From the Teammates and following section of the homepage, you can tap on a teammate’s icon to see their desk location on the floorplan.

For a more comprehensive overview, open the Desks :desk-icon-mobile: tab, where you’ll find all of your teammates and their upcoming reservations for the week.

• Tap on a day of the week to see the user’s specific booking details. Tap :map-icon-mobile: to locate the user’s booked desk on the floorplan.
• Tap Book a Desk to go to the floorplan and find a desk near the user.

If the feature is enabled, team leaders can reserve multiple desks for their team. Desks with an active Team Reservation are available for anyone in that team to claim.

• Open the floorplan view to find reservations made by your team leader. Team reservations will appear in yellow. Tap any of the reserved desks 🟡 to claim.

• Click Today at the bottom of the floorplan to select a specific date, or use the arrows to move forward and backward in time.
