We prefer to utilise sequential numbering; however, we are open to alternative arrangements if necessary for business purposes, provided that all numbers remain unique.

E.g. In a single-floor Floorsense system with 100 desks, number them from 001 to 100.

In a multi-floor environment, the FS requires the level number to be placed in front of the desk number (dot separated). This helps end users search a workstation via the mobile app and easily select a desk on the correct floor and ensures that the system maintains unique desk numbers. Optionally, in the example below, the desk key can consist of the level number, the desk type indicator (F for ‘Focus’), and the desk number.
